Nice to Meet you!
I’m Cassie, owner and creative force behind Trophie Creative.
I’ve been blessed (or cursed?) with the I-can-do-anything gene, which takes me to the beginning of how I ended up here.
While working in the consumer packaged goods industry, I saw many packaging designs come across my desk. One, in particular, was especially… underwhelming. Because of my aforementioned affliction, my thoughts went from, “I can do this better,” to, “Wait… what if I actually did this better?” That thought kept replaying in my head until a month later, when I enrolled in the digital design program at my local community college.
Over the next two years, I worked my tail off, balancing a full-time career while studying part-time. Somewhere in there, I also moved, got engaged, planned a wedding, got married, and navigated newlywed life. Piece of cake!
I graduated summa cum laude, not knowing exactly what the future held, but knowing the creative life I’d been working toward—and dreaming about for years—was right around the corner.
I don’t know exactly where this journey will take me, but I do know this: I’m the kind of person who can’t stop asking, “How could this be better?” Whether it’s a logo, an illustration, or a photograph, I’m always chasing the details that turn something good into something memorable.
If you’re building something you’re proud of, I’d love to help bring it to life.
The Story Behind Trophie
My family always had pets running around (cats, fish, dogs, a hamster), but there was a time when we had nothing but dachshunds (cue the wiener jokes!). Though they have their flaws (the barking!), they are curious, protective, goofy, and, of course, absolutely adorable.
Of the I’m-not-sure-how-many, there were two who completely stole my heart: Sophie and Trixie. Sophie was the sweet, yet anxious one; Trixie was the goofball, and, I say this lovingly, shaped like a potato. Both were excellent companions, and their loss is still felt several years later.
Trophie Creative is my small way of carrying a piece of Sophie, Trixie, and every pet who has brought joy, chaos, and love into my life.
